We often take our skin for granted and slap our creams on in a rush. If we love our skin inside out, it will help boost our self esteem, creating a positive ripple effect with ourselves, our partners, our families, our communities and the world at large.
As many people know, I enjoy writing poems and stories to illustrate a point.
Instead of writing lists of products and treatments one can purchase or should use each decade (which I will do eventually on another blog), I thought I would leave you this poem which I hope will inspire you to see skin in a different light. The how is the easy part. Knowing the why is the important key.
Our skin is the largest organ in our body – a living, breathing organ with it’s own ecosystem. It’s an extension of our souls and a wrapping of the greatest gift of all – life. We only have one so make sure you take care of it.
