We know skin peels are good for us.
If done right, it helps to remove the dead layers of the skin much more effective than mechanical exfoliators.
However, one of the concerns most people have about deep peels is the down-time.
“How long do I need to stay in-doors?” “How long will I be peeling?” are a couple of the common questions I get.
I love peels myself but my skin is sensitive so I’m all too familiar with the down-time. That’s why I loved it when I tried this new skin treatment called TCA Touch by PHformula.

The geeky bit
The action of controlled chemical skin resurfacing differs from conventional peelings. Peelings mainly cause skin exfoliation, whereas controlled resurfacing actively provokes an accelerated form of cell regeneration in the skin, whilst trauma and superficial irritation is reduced.

You can see my before and after pictures below. My skin was minimally flushed straight after and was tight the next 2-3 days. After that, it started flaking but no peeling. Not even my husband suspected anything. My before and after pictures isn’t too drastic as I use active ingredients on a regular basis. However my skin feels firmer, smoother and looks brighter.
